First of all, inside the package, you’ll get the brand new soundbank of 149 expertly crafted presets for Serum. Ranging from beautiful plucks and leads to pristine pad presets, solid basslines, FX and drum sounds, this soundbank includes some of ReOrder’s key signature sounds used in his releases on labels such as Black Hole Recordings, FSOE and Who’s Afraid of 138, and expands to several sub-genres of dance music: Trance, Progressive, EDM, and Techno & House.
The soundset includes brand new sounds that make great use of Serum’s functionality. These presets are suitable for several sub-genres of dance music and the soundest contains only memorable, up-to-date and beautiful sounds.
Finally, you’ll also get the 3x Ableton Live demo projects as heard in the audio demo. These projects contain all the arrangements you can hear in the audio demo (ranging from EDM to trance & progressive, techno & house). The demo template contains all presets, MIDI melodies, samples and fx chains as you can hear in the demo. You can also purchase the demo templates and/or the presets separately. The ‘Presets Only’ version only contains the 149 Serum presets; the ‘Templates Only’ version only contains the 3x Demo templates.

This preset pack is mediocre at best, nothing stands out as top tier sound design, in fact loads of the presets are single oscillator sounds so are weak and thin, the sound processing is also minimal so weak, thin and dry. I’ll use none of these sounds in my own tunes which is disappointing and for the price of this pack I’d happily say I’m quite dissatisfied with my purchase.
