Not Bad but not great!
Many of the presets sound the similar and if your at a point were writers block kicks in and your simply scrolling through this preset list then the sounds will not push you to have an awe inspiring idea or moment.
But if you take the time and think of making bass lines in layers and have a good prior midi sequence laid-out…, then these preset start to shine giving your layerd bassline that final touch your looking for. Some presets have great harmonics. (if you need that immediate inspiration bass line that triggers ideas then try Nexus 2)
Pros:
-Great for adding to prior layerd bass lines that final touch needed.
-Some presets have good harmonics.
-Prefect for the person who likes to tweak preset into monster sounds
-Good As on to expand library
Cons:
-Might not give that awe inspiring must have bassline when you have writers block or your starting from scratch. (if your looking for immediate inspiration try Nexus 2 then layer these Serum presets and tweek away) 🙂
-Some presets sound very similar.
-Was looking for differnt wavetables.

Not too bad and not too good. Demo is included. But these require serious tweaking to make them sound like its for real music . It’s a good backbone but definitely not to be used as finished product without putting in some fx’s

This bank contains some really good bass presets for uplifting trance. Let’s be honest though: trance bass lines are extremely hard.
It’s all about the layering. This bank has some really good presets that will help you do just that.
As with most banks though, all the presets are made to sound great as they are. This doesn’t mean that they will necessarily work well when layered though, so you’ll probably have to tweak them somewhat.
You will find that some of the effects like reverb and delay is a bit overdone, especially when you’re using the sounds for layers. It only takes a second or two to turn it off though, and you have to expect some tweaking anyways.
All in all a good bank with some good bass presets that should work very well especially for uplifting trance, and especially for layering.

One more great uplifting trance presets pack for Xfer Serum. This pack have included 20 demo projects for Ableton Live. Every preset inside is really great for trance productions and others. So it’s very good for studying how to make presets get to that finished sound.

I recently decided to set up a mini home studio at the age of 51. I have liked trance, house, garage, etc for many years.
Recently I discovered Psy Trance and I’ve fallen in love with it so much I want to be able to mix and make my own tracks.
I discovered MyLoops by chance and oh my gosh I’m so ecstatic the site exists.
As I’m new to EDM production I’m struggling with terminology etc so reviewing for me is difficult. I’m sure in future I’ll sail through writing a semi-professional review.
The site as a massive selection of free samples and packs, samples, loops and tutorials which are invaluable. This purchase has really helped me being a novice and I’m currently working on an exciting track which would never come to fruition if it was not for MyLoop. Great site, great downloads, varied selection, good prices, and regular discounts. Flawless.

I have Ableton 9 but never use it. I bought this to force myself to use it. I didn’t like Live before but now i LOVE IT

There are some really nice mid basses in here, which are good options I can’t really get out of Spire or Sylenth. Having said that, a few of the sounds sound similar to each other, and a number are a bit nasal/ resonant. Still worth it to me though.
