On ne peut pas dire qu’on croule sous les banques pour ANA2, aussi quand j’ai vu qu’Ancore, que j’apprécie en général, en proposait une, spécialisée Trance en plus, je n’ai pas hésité longtemps … et j’ai bien fait car les sons sont intéressants et surtout exploitables, avec des grosses basses qui déchirent, des bons leads mais aussi de très bon plucks. Les pads et les stabs sont plus passe partout. Dommage, pas de programmation de la molette d’expression, mais à part ce bémol, c’est une banque de sons tout à fait recommandable pour la Trance.

Firstly, the ANA synthesizer itself is a wonderful creation. Then the presets are simply amazing. I’ve already started using the soundbanks on my projects. Of course it’s always best to tweak the sounds to your liking. The soundbanks are great tools to understand how the patches were designed as well.

There are not too many sound sets out there for Sonic Academy’s Ana 2 so I snapped this one up from this site at a reasonable price. The sounds on offer are varied and there are many warm sounding pluck sounds in the set. Some of the sounds do not appear to be linked to the four macro controllers though.
