Due to the differences in the audio engines / summing algorithms and mixing techniques used (side-chaining …) in the 4 sequencers, the projects will sound slightly different in each sequencer. That being said, a lot of hard work has been done to make sure the project sounds as good as possible in every piece of software used (and as close as possible to the demo, which was made in Ableton Live).

This template is very inspiring and gives you an insight on how to write a uplifting trance track. Myloops has certainly set the bar high with this template.

Revelations Volume 1 is good for inspirational use, and great for amateur learning. It has a very specific uplifting 138 sound, that's easily grasped herein. The template shows the effective use of automation, as well as layering. It's mixed down well, and the sounds can be re-used on other projects.

As always you can expect quality templates from MyLoops and this is no exception. The template is well organized. Great for learning how to create a track and how to mix. My approach is to buy template after the melody and overall sound and after studying this one I have learned a lot. Especially layering with is essential to trance. (To be able to use the Massive presets (in other tracks) you need to convert them (very easy and done in the Massive ui)).

I know this template is a few years old now but it is still a great tool for learning uplifting trance. An overall great atmosphere and use of vst’s from only ableton which is great to see first hand to not only improve your skills but self confidence to create your own tracks
