I learned about Projektors Masterclass at his youtube tutorials. I´d say I´m an intermediate beginner in producing, mainly doing Psybient, Chillgressive. But after learning nice stuff through Projektors Youtube Tuts, I purchased the masterclass to support this guy.
I´m on the cheap side of production. Ableton Standard and stock plugins. My Synth is Vital instead of Serum. So I have to find solutions for the plugins used in the tutorial, and hey, it´s possible. Google or DuckDuck is your friend 😉 Instead of Lfo Tool using Shaper or similar solutions for other plugins. Hey Projektor, please do some tutorials about this solutions…
The class is a session with Projektor and covers lots of topics. For absolut beginner it could be irritating that, for example, you don´t see or get explained when he uses shortcuts or why the kick is the kick in the scale and so on, but if you don´t know what he is doing, just move on. Visit his channel and and watch some tutorials. This way you can really dive deep into the topics used in this Masterclass. If you support the Masterclass with the channel you´ll get a great producing course.
I´d say you get the most out of it when you are an intermediate beginner, who at least knows what Projektor is doing. Then you get to unterstand why he is doing it. I mean it´s not a 20 hour something course, it´s a class. But like I wrote before, use his channel to supplement the Masterclass and you`ll get a great course. I did already learn a lot of tricks just by this Masterclass without supplementing. Especially in Sound Design and arranging. Very easy to follow and to understand. I´m looking forward to the mixing and mastering, will need to supplement then for sure.
So, this class is for beginner and intermediate. Beginner should just work through it and learn on the way. You won´t find a better course about producing psytrance if you use it like I explained. The quality is great as always with this dude and great fun and new tricks…Projektor. You are a great teacher. Thank you very much. The Masterclass is great value and I´ll work through it several times for sure.
