10 Free Progressive Trance Kicks

Finding the perfect kick sample for your progressive trance production is one of the most important tasks to do, because the kick is such a significant element in trance music (and more generally in electronic dance music). How frustrating is it when you try dozens of  progressive trance kicks from your hard drive, and none of them seems to fit in your track ?

This is why having a library of GOOD sounding kicks is essential. Good kicks for trance music tend to be clean, punchy and loud but non-saturated. Compression, transient shaping and EQing are essential tools when desining trance kicks. It’s also important to note that one kick might be perfect for one production, and useless for another. It all depends on the feeling of your track and how your other elements interact with the kick drum.
