What exactly am I purchasing ?

When you puchase a product from us, you are NOT obtaining OWNERSHIP of the sounds – you are in fact purchasing a LICENSE to use the sounds within your musical compositions, whether or not your compositions are released commercially. The original producer will always remain the OWNER of the sounds, in this case Myloops.net.

How can I use the sounds ?

You may use the sounds in combination with other sounds within your musical compositions. You may release such compositions commercially without payment of any further fees or royalties for such usage. For example, if you are the original purchaser of a Origin Series CD, and you used sounds from it to create the soundtrack of a television commercial, simply by combining a drum loop sample with a guitar loop sample, and the TV advert was broadcast hundreds of times, you would keep all the royalties that the advert earns you, because you already purchased a private license to use the sounds commercially. You cannot use the sounds in isolation (i.e. when not within musical compositions) as part of a commercially released project – for instance you cannot use the sounds to make another sample CD, or “library music” sound file album, or multimedia sound library CD-ROM.

Who else can use the sounds that I purchased ?

Nobody, unless they also purchased the same CD from brand new. Only the ORIGINAL PURCHASER of the CD has the right to use the sounds commercially. This means that you CANNOT SELL or give the sounds to anyone else. If you do, and they use the sounds within a commercial release, they will have to pay royalties to Time+Space for using the sounds. You will also have broken the law.

How do I download my sounds after purchase ?

After checking out on the Paypal website, you will see a “go back to Myloops.net” button. Click on it and you will be sent to the Confirmation Page on our website. This page contains a secure link to your files and you can start downloading your sounds instantly. You will also receive an e-mail containing the same link to download your files. If you happen to leave the site and want to download your files later, you can also access your download links by clicking on the “View your Account” button at the top right of any page of this website. Please do not share any download links or account information with anyone.

I would like to get a hardcopy of my purchase. Can you send me a CD or a DVD in the post ?

Some of our products are available both as downloads and on discs. You may order our sample products on CD/DVD’s which we will ship through the post. Just visit our “Sample Discs” section on our main menu at the top of this page. Keep in mind that there is an additional cost when buying the Hardcopy version, which is however already included in the displayed price.

I have purchased one of your Sample Discs. Can I download the files while I wait for the disc to come in the post ?

Check the title of the product you are considering. If it shows up as (Disc & Download) then you will get a direct secure link as well as a CD in the post. Please refer to the “Help” section for more information on how to download your sounds.

How long will it take to download my soundbank / sample pack ?

This mostly depends on the type of product you have purchased. A synthesizer soundbank is usually a very small file and will be downloaded almost instantly. Our sample packs on the other hand have sizes ranging from 100 to 500 MB and therefore will take longer to download. The files are usually compressed into a .RAR file, which means you only have one file to download.

I ordered a sample pack and then changed my mind after the payment. Can I get a refund ?

If you have changed your mind and haven’t downloaded the files yet, you have the right to ask for a refund. Please contact our support e-mail. If however you already clicked on the download link, we consider that you have taken delivery of the product and therefore we cannot offer a refund.

I purchased an item 2 months ago, and then accidentally deleted the files from my computer. Can I download the package from your server again ?

The download link that you received after your purchase is only useable 3 times. After that, it is automatically disabled to guarantee optimal security for the files on our servers. It is recommended that you keep a backup of your downloaded files on your hard disk or burn them to a CD. If you weren’t able to do this and if you need to download your product again, please contact us at support@myloops.net and we will generate a new download link for you.

I made an order a few minutes ago, but I can’t see the download link for my sounds.

If for some reason you cannot access your download links just after payment, try visiting your account page by clicking on the “View my Account” button at the top right of any page of this website. Then click on “My Downloads” and you should see a downloads link for every product you purchased. You also receive an e-mail containing the same download information. The Payment Notification system we use is very fast, but sometimes for one reason or another the e-mail containing the download links gets blocked. One possibility is that the e-mail got placed into your Spam folder (this happens sometimes if you use hotmail, gmail, …) Please check your spam folder. If you haven’t received your e-mail after a few hours, please contact us at support@myloops.net and we will send you the download information.

All copying, lending, duplicating, re-selling or trading of this product or its content is strictly prohibited. Only the original purchaser of this product has the right to embody and reproduce the enclosed sound samples within their music compositions. Use of these sounds in multimedia projects is limited to use within original musical compositions. Any other multimedia use of these sounds must be cleared with the producer of this product prior to release. This license is granted for a single user only (and is given on a worldwide basis). The license is non-exclusive and is granted for the full period of copyright protection and sound samples. You cannot electronically transfer the sound samples or place them in a time -sharing or service bureau operation or a computer/sampler network. Opening this product constitutes your acceptance of these terms.
